Ecole au coeur de l’Ile school is a 4,000 m2 K-12 school for a population of 380 students. As well as traditional classrooms, the school includes project rooms, meeting rooms, student tech areas, teacher prep areas and corridors acting as both corridors and learning commons. The school also includes a multi-purpose gymnasium with a stage.

Energy systems include natural ventilation, daylighting, geoexchange energy, rain-water harvesting and reclaimed wood elements.

Rudy was the lead Commissioning Authority for this project. The project attained a LEED Gold Certification.
